Gervais Munger, Co-Owner of Chicoutimi in QMJHL, Feared Dead
The co-owner of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, Gervais Munger, may have drowned in Lake St. Jean, according to a report in the Montreal Gazette.
Munger, who was 52, was on a boat Saturday afternoon that suffered a mechanical failure, and he and 3 other passengers went overboard. The other 3 made it to shore.
Munger was also the first vice president on the five-member executive committee that was charged with choosing the site for the 2012 Mastercard Memorial Cup.
Thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.
