Sullivan Hockey East Rookie of the Week

University of Maine freshman Dan Sullivan (York, Pa.) was named the Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday, Nov. 1.

Sullivan made 23 saves as Maine defeated Vermont 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night in Burlington, Vt. The 23 saves tied his career high. Sullivan made nine saves in the third period and a pair of stops in overtime.

Sullivan improves to 2-1-0 on the season. He has a 2.52 goals against average and a .892 save percentage.

Sullivan and the Black Black Bears, ranked seventh in the nation in the latest polls released on Monday, Nov. 1, return to action on Saturday, Nov. 6. Maine will travel to Boston University to face the undefeated and third-ranked Terriers.
