Brian Flynn, who already took home the Pine Tree Pucks Player of the Week this week, gets a much higher honor in being named Hockey East Athletic Republic Player of the Week. Flynn scored 3 goals and was a +5 this weekend against the North Dakota Fighting Sioux.
After dropping some spots last week, Maine rebounds in both polls because of the sweep of the Sioux this weekend. USCHO moves Maine up from 12 to #7 this week, while USA Today moves them to #6 form 11 last week.
Maine next plays Friday the 30th in Burlington, Vt against the Catamounts.
