Portland Pirates forward Luke Adam!
Adam, who is ranked the 4th overall prospect in Sabres system by Hockey's Future, has started off his season on a major scoring streak with 4 goals and 5 assists and a plus/minus of 5 in five games. He was named AHL Player of the week last week, and Coach Kevin Dineen compared him to former Pirate and current Anaheim Duck Bobby Ryan in an interview on the Morning Jab last week.
Portland Pirates Mark Mancari was the 2nd Star and Lewiston MAINEiacs Goalie Nicholas Champion was the 3rd Star. The award is voted upon by a committee of Maine Sports Network contributors.
